DETOXIFYING SKINCARE TIPS

Now that the holiday has passed and we retreat back to our more simple and quiet days (at least for the time being) , our bodies , when not at the gym may be in need of a good detox !
To achieve any skincare goals you must have a skin cleanse .

All that food and drinking , late nights and travel are sure to have taken a toll on your skin .
Starting your skincare regimes with a fresh , clean and hydrated cleanse will allow time for your skin’s radiance and health to re-emerge .  It will offer your skincare products an optimal opportunity to work its best .
A detox will remove toxins in your body and will help purge the body of impurities , stimulate circulation and rejuvenate cell turnover .  All important activities in helping your largest organ reveal its natural beauty to the world .


TRY THESE SIMPLE TIPS AND SEE HOW GREAT YOUR SKIN CAN LOOK


ELIMINATE CAFFEINE

May be a bit difficult if you love your coffee , however replacing your daily intake by drinking tea will do wonders for you skin .
Give an organic green tea that is loaded with antioxidants a try .  It is so light and fragrant you will truly enjoy its taste .  I suggest drinking 3 cups of tea daily , it will slow the aging of the skin and improve its quality .

EXERCISE REGULARLY

That’s a must !
Walk , run… dance… keep moving ! Get your heart pumping and blood flowing .

EAT FRUITS

Fruit does your body good .  In fact , it helps to flush out any toxins in your body .
Try a 24 hour fruit diet to help rejuvenate your body and enhance waste removal from the body . The removal of waste and compounds from the blood stream will help in getting rid of allergies , improving skin radiance and increase your vitalized energy .
The strongest detoxifying effect is caused by the acidic fruits – grapes , lemons and oranges .  I found it interesting to find out that a fruit diet also has fewer calories .


NATURAL FACIAL MASK

Try one with oatmeal and yogurt and almonds to naturally and lightly scrub off any dead skin cells . (Think glowing skin ! ) .  I have a recipe for an egg face mask that would help exfoliate the skin . Raw eggs make easy and wonderful face masks .
Beat 2 raw eggs mix with a little water and honey and you are all set ! Apply , wait until it dries and wash off with warm water .


MOISTURIZE REGULARLY AND DRINK WATER

Hydrating the skin externally will help the body to naturally detoxify .
Consuming your vitamins daily , particularly ones that contain Fish oils will aid in maintaining this hydration and of course drinking a minimum of 8 cups of filtered water daily is necessary to help keep flushing out the toxins .
